Impi Canvas will advise their clients on a maintenance plan every 2-3 years. Depending on how well your maintenance plan is implemented, these tents can last for many, many years.
Can I make changes to the current tent designs?
Yes, Impi is one of the few companies that builds tents according to the client's specifications. Working with our architect, we can custom design a tent to your requirements.
Can I change the color of the canvas on the tent?
Yes, we have a full range of canvas and shade netting colors to choose from.
Cement slab or wooden decking?
This choice is up to you, the client. We give the client the option to do the cement slab/decking themselves to save costs, or it can be done by Impi Canvas.
Can Impi Canvas provide a turnkey solution for these tents?
Yes, we allow the client to perform whatever installation they prefer by themselves, but Impi Canvas has a qualified team to offer a turnkey solution.
What is the quality of the canvas?
We manufacture these tents with 500g canvas and 94% shade netting produced in South Africa. No imported canvas is used by us, as it cannot handle the harsh African climate.
Can I replace only a panel in case of damage to my tent?
Yes, these tents are designed with owner maintenance in mind. We can manufacture the specific size, and it can be fitted by the owner themselves or Impi Canvas. You don't need to remove the entire inner structure of the tent, which leads to less downtime in case of damage.
Can Impi Canvas provide a proposal and site layout for a planned project?
Yes, we work closely with our clients and architects to create a proposed site layout and tent design before the project commences. It is essential for Impi Canvas that the client fully understands the tent design and site layout. We have been involved in full lodge designs on previous projects.
